WEEK OF JANUARY 4...
In math, we are finishing module four which covers geometry before sliding into fractions/decimals. Students learned about lines, shapes and measuring angles using a protractor. We have completed the first two modules which covered place value and all four algorithms of larger numbers. It is important that your child works on Reflex Math and i-Ready weekly at home.
In science, we are finishing Unit 7 which covers Energy then “moving” in speed and motion. We worked with potential/kinetic, renewable/nonrenewable resources and different forms of energy.
Lunch is from 12:30-1:00. Resource days vary week to week and are from 8:45-9:30.
