WEEK OF JANUARY 24...

In math, we are working in module 4 – geometry.  Students will understand and use geometric terms and measure angles using a protractor.  We have finished module three which covered multiplication, division, and area/perimeter using formulas. Students learned different strategies including the area model and algorithm.  We have also completed module one and two.  Students can use a reference sheet to convert measurements.  Students also can read, write, compare, round, and the use the addition and subtraction algorithm of numbers up to the millions place.  In science we are working with energy.  Students are learning about heat, light, electrical, sound, and kinetic/potential energy.

It is important that your child works on Reflex Math and Freckle weekly at home.

Lunch is from 12:05-12:35. Resource days vary week to week and start at 10:35.
