In math, we are in module three which covers the area/perimeter formulas, multiplication and division.  We have finished place value and the measurement conversions unit.  Students should now be fluent with reading, writing, comparing, rounding and the addition and subtraction algorithm of numbers to the millions place.  Students should also be comfortable with using a reference sheet and converting metric units.  It is important that your child works on Reflex Math and i-ready weekly at home.  Prodigy is also available as a “fun” reward.

Lunch is from 12:15-12:45.  Resource days vary week to week and are from 8:45-9:30.

Monday:  Multiplication (2 by 1)
Tuesday:  Multiplication (expanded algorithm)
Wednesday:  Multiplication (expanded/regular algorithm)
Thursday:  Multiplication (regular algorithm)
