PICTURE DAY

PICTURE DAY IS TUESDAY, MARCH 2. THE STUDENT NEEDS PICTURE FORM TO GET SPRING PICTURES TAKEN.

WEEK OF MARCH 1...

In math, we are working on our biggest unit – fractions/decimals.  Students will compare, add/subtract with like denominators, multiply and simplify fractions. We finished module four which covered geometry.  Students learned about lines, shapes and measuring angles using a protractor.  We have completed the first two modules as well.  They covered place value and all four algorithms of larger numbers.  It is important that your child works on i-Ready, Freckle and Penda weekly at home.

In science, we are studying rocks and minerals.  Students will learn about the different kinds of rocks and how they are formed.
